About us

We Create Safe, Reliable, and Planet Friendly Off Grid Energy Systems

Did You Know: Renewables only powers ~ 30% of global electricity

Our Story

We are living through a pivotal moment in human history. Our energy needs are now higher than ever, yet supply is short. The result? Rising energy prices and growing pressure on our energy infrastructure.

TreeTrench was founded to help tackle these complex engineering challenges. We’re still at our humble beginnings, but our ambition is anything but small. We want to contribute to cutting edge technologies like designing and commissioning reactors, turning carbon dioxide into liquid fuels, and building circular systems across industries that were once seen as completely disconnected.

TreeTrench is led by a research scientist and engineer who is determined to help create a world with abundant clean energy and one without waste.

Ahmed Abdalla – Founder and CEO

Our Founder

I am a research scientist with strong interest in all things energy systems – from heating and cooling to infinitely generating clean zero emission energy. If solar sounds magical hear this out, researchers are currently looking at ways to turn carbon dioxide into liquid fuel. This allow us to burn as much fuel as we want and still be net zero! The challenge is that carbon dioxide is super rare in the atmosphere (<1%) so incredibly hard to extract. To take part in such challenges and ending waste is why I founded Treetrench!

Did you know: Globally, 675 million people don’t have access to electricity yet.

Just want to raise your awareness on what my home country Sudan is going through now. Millions have been displaced and thousands killed because of a war no one knows why it even started.
